Floral Spector, to speak as prophets from the Hive

Aesthetics bloom in Floral Spector,  human and machine consciousness intersect within a continuously morphing feedback loop. Artists Mark Klink and Alley Wurds generate  video using Blender, AI  and VR, works that act as autonomous yet relational systems — self-evolving environments of signal, noise, and emergent intelligence. Tyler Kline enters this recursive field as both witness and collaborator, harvesting screenshots from their AI video works, reconfiguring them through Midjourney, and reanimating them via Sora 2, composing new hybrid videos that blur the line between interpretation and generation.

The result is a constellation of moving images that question authorship and perception — where art becomes a negotiation between consciousnesses. The digital organism and the human psyche mirror each other, caught in a dialogue of mimicry, mutation, and metamorphosis. The works inhabit liminal zones: between organic and synthetic, thought and simulation, algorithmic and emotional. Each layer of translation — from video to image to AI augmentation to video again — becomes an act of speculative evolution, an echo of intelligence feeding upon itself.

This exhibition explores the porous boundaries between sentience and simulation, gesture and code. It is a meditation on the wrongness of perception — the beauty of misrecognition, the productive glitch that opens portals between worlds. Within this feedback ecology, the artists suggest a new ontology of co-creation: one where consciousness is distributed, hybrid, and in flux, and where human imagination becomes the mycelial interface between the biological and the algorithmic.
